Hyan says she loved working with Mickie James.

“The Renaissance Woman” has competed for a number of promotions, including Deadlock Pro-Wrestling, Black Label Pro, and RevPro. In 2022, she also wrestled on IMPACT programming and worked an AEW Dark: Elevation taping. During her brief time with IMPACT, she faced Mickie James on IMPACT Wrestling.

In an interview with Scott Mitchell of PWMania.com, Hyan looked back at facing James and emphasized that she’s a big fan of the veteran. She stated that she’d like to have another match with James, as she enjoyed their first bout.

“I love Mickie James, and I was such a big fan of hers,” Hyan said. “Getting to meet her was cool. I got starstruck so I had to try and keep it all inside and just act normal. She is just incredibly kind and so knowledgeable. One day I would love to have another match with her. I can’t say enough good things about her. She’s a total sweetheart, and I loved working with her.”

As for her match against Shaw on Before The IMPACT, Hyan noted that they had instant chemistry when they first met in the United Kingdom, and she appreciated the way “The Quintessential Diva” wanted her to have a good showing in their match.

“I worked with her a lot in the UK, which is where we met,” Hyan said. “We just had instant chemistry. When I got to wrestle her in IMPACT, I just immediately thought it would be perfect because I knew I would be able to go with her in the ring. She wanted me to have a great showing too, which I appreciated a lot.”

Hyan previously described how “The Tudors” and “Legend off Zelda” inspired her ring gear. Check out her comments here.
